The home of the prolific author Zane Grey of western novels from 1905-1918. The museum contains the study where he did much of his writing. The two room study has been kept intact and is decorated with American Indian scenes painted on the walls, Hopi Katchina Dolls and Navajo Sand Paintings. The house is part of the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River Site administered by the National Park Service.
Open Thursday through Sunday 10 am til 5 pm between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Open noon til 4 pm weekends through October. Open in January for Zane Grey birthday. Tours are limited to 10 people, advance arrangements are recommended.
Admission: $2 adults, $1 children ages 10-15, children under 10, free. Free admission on Aug.25, National Park Service anniversary and on Zane Greys birthday celebration in January. Free parking.
