Plein Air Painters of the NJ Highlands - PAPNJH is a unique friendly group of artists who meet regularly to paint the gorgeous scenery of the Northeastern NJ Highlands and the surrounding area. PAPNJH was founded in 2005 by Ringwood NJ Highlands plein air artists, Diana Gibson and William Brown. We at PAPNJH are dedicated to preserving the tradition of painting on location and we are proud to state that we are a charter group that has forged to promote and create an interest in the arts within the communities of the Northeastern NJ Highlands region. We are recognized as the first official original plein air group in the Northeastern New Jersey Highlands. We seek to paint, share in good times and promote a professional, non-commercial, non-competitive, amicable environment conducive to creativity and productivity. Through out the year we connect with other plein air groups in the tri-state area for multi-group paint out events. We welcome you to join us to paint our jewel of the NJ Highlands!
