Calling all Young at Heart Artists! For all ages! Free Admission! Celebrate America’s upcoming 250th birthday (2026) by creating artwork celebrating the untold stories of Paterson’s contributions to the growth of the United States. Select a story from 1776 through today, create an original drawing, painting, sculpture, poem, story, etc. Provide a short paragraph explaining how your piece connects the Paterson themes of immigration, innovation, industrial history, natural world, sports to those who have shaped the United States. Create your own art at our art table on Friday, August 23 from 10AM-4PM or Saturday, August 24 from 9:30AM - 11:00AM at 72 McBride Avenue Extension, in Paterson. Supplies provided while they last. If you choose, have your artwork displayed at a reception at the Paterson Museum (2 Market Street, in Paterson) at 1PM on August 24. Light refreshments will be served. Can't make it to the park?
